Darren "Daz" Hopwood (previously Eden) is a fictional character on the ITV soap opera Emmerdale. He is played by Luke Tittensor.

Daz entered the series in 2003 as the half-brother of Andy Sugden. He was the son of Billy Hopwood, known to the Emmerdale villagers as the man who killed Vic Windsor. Daz was initially a bit of a troublemaker. When he tried to make up for his mischievous past deeds with his community service, things turned out badly. He asked Scott Windsor to let him help in the garage, but Scott refused. Daz angrily set fire to the garage, in the process discovering Andy's fiancee Katie having an affair with Andy's adoptive brother Robert. Daz told Andy the truth, but Robert and Katie tricked him into thinking Daz was trying to cause trouble. Andy thought about putting Daz into care, but the truth came out eventually.

Daz is now good friends with both Debbie Dingle and Jasmine Thomas. He was present when Debbie gave birth to Sarah, who was Andy's daughter. Daz cared about Sarah a lot and was going to be godfather to her at the christening. When Debbie gave Sarah away to Emily Kirk, Daz was devastated and found it difficult to forgive her.
