[edit] RE. Help me

Hello, I'm afraid you'll have to be more specific with your request. What exactly do you need? KOS | talk 01:30, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

The accounts themselves can not be "deleted", though you can request that the user page for both accounts be deleted, or you can just leave a note on each page stating that they are your accounts. I'd recommend that you read WP:SOCK. You can ask Essjay if he could help you, he knows far more about the situation you require help with, compared to myself. I'm sure he would oblige. Hope this helps, cheers. KOS | talk 02:51, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
DayKart, have you considered simply redirecting the old user pages to your new account? Also, they seem to have a significant talk page (at least on the Daykart account) that is probably worth archiving. — Armedblowfish (talk|mail) 13:12, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
I apologize, I didn't mean to imply that you were using sockpuppets, I just suggested that you read WP:SOCK so that you may come across other alternatives to deleting the user pages of each account. There are in fact multiple reasons a sockpuppet may be used on Wikipedia, and they are listed at WP:SOCK. However, you can put a {{db-userreq}} tag on the userpages, and an admin will come along and delete them. A more full explanation can be found here. KOS | talk 16:53, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] RE: Julian Clarke

I don't understand what kind of references to put on the page. I already put a few link that lead to the people or things mentioned in the biography and I even added the links (source) of where I got the information all the way at the bottom. Can you please help me? I read all of the rules and stuff, but I don't realize what I'm missing :( I'm one of Julian's fans and I just wanted to type up a bio for him, the pics on that page don't really have a copyright, but I contacted Julian on his myspace page and he said I could use them for the wikipedia bio. One of the pics on there, I made myself on adobe photoshop.

Thanks for the help in advance! :)

[edit] RE: RE: Julian Clarke

Even after reading that, I still don't get it :( How many more sources do I have to put up there?

[edit] Julian Clarke

While I appreciate your thought in notifying me if that had happened, from what I can see of the history, I've never edited that article, speedy tag or otherwise! I don't think it's an appropriate speedy candidate (the article does contain some assertion of notability, while totally unsourced, and it's not quite promotional enough for G11), but it sure looks like a good candidate for AfD. Ah, I see where the confusion stemmed from, I ran across another page that user created on RC/NP patrol and nominated it for speedy. It seems that the user has created several problem pages, I've nominated them either for speedy or AfD as appropriate, so hopefully that mess will get cleaned up soon. [edit] Rejoicing

Just a quick note, Sholom, to say I enjoyed the "rejoicing" incident, and have nothing personal against you, just a desire to keep wikipedia free of too many blog links! BobFromBrockley 13:05, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Cleanup templates

Just to let you know that most cleanup templates, like "unreferenced", "fact", "cleanup" etc., are best not "subst"ed. See WP:SUBST for more details. Regards, Rich Farmbrough, 17:39 27 February 2007 (GMT).
