Dayton O'Brien (born October 29, 1983 in Memphis, Tennessee) is an American soccer player, who last played midfielder for the Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer.
O'Brien played college soccer at University of Memphis from 2002 to 2005. Through his four years there he accumulated 24 goals and 34 assists, the latter is a Memphis record. He was named Second Team All-American in 2004. He also played in the USL Premier Development League for both Memphis Express and Cape Cod Crusaders, scoring 21 goals in 58 league appearances.
He was drafted in the third round, 33rd overall, by the Columbus Crew in the 2006 MLS SuperDraft. He was waived by the team on July 11, 2006.
