day after tomorrow (also known as dat) was a 3-member J-pop band under the Avex label. Due to their music being produced by former Every Little Thing member Mitsuru Igarashi, day after tomorrow's music took on a decidedly similar feel to that group's music, particularly the more synth pop-based music that Every Little Thing released in their earlier years. As of the release of their best albums in August 2005, day after tomorrow are on hiatus as a result of a scandal from the media. [1] Kitano, one of the members of the band, is dating SAYAKA, the daughter of pop star Matsuda Seiko. Media reports have also alleged that this was the main reason for it.

Since the band went on hiatus, misono has started a solo career.
