The Daxue Mountains (pinyin: Daxue Shan; Wade-Giles: Ta-hsüeh) "Great Snow" mountain range lies in the Sichuan province of western China near the Tibetan plateau. The tallest peak, Gongga Shan (Minya Konka), measures 7,556 meters in height.
