Dax Shepard

Dax Shepard (January 2, 1975) is an American actor.
Shepard started as a car buff at Walled Lake Central High School. Later, he attended Groundlings School and Groundlings Sunday Company. He also attended UCLA to receive a degree in anthropology.
Dax's acting career started with his film debut in Hairshirt (1998). After performing in a chain of smaller television and film roles, he joined the Punk'd team. His exposure through Punk'd led to film roles in movies such as Employee of the Month, Cheaper by the Dozen, Without a Paddle, Zathura, and Idiocracy.
On the October 3, 2006 edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Shepard declared that he is a Libertarian and opposed the War in Iraq.

- In the 2004 movie Without a Paddle, Tom (Shepard) states that he's "Not an astronaut". Ironically, he played an astronaut in 2005 movie Zathura.
