Dawson's Creek Season 1
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Dawson's Creek first season started on January 20th, 1998 and ended May 19th, 1998. This season takes place on the characters' first half of their sophomore year of high-school.
The Complete First Season DVD was released on April 1st, 2003 including all the 13 episodes and some special features.
It's interesting to point that all 13 episodes were fully done even before the series premiered. The WB initially planned Dawson's Creek to be just a mid-season show, but the show's popularity became instant that another season (now with more than 13 episodes) was ordered. This went on until the end of the series in 2003.
There are no changes to the songs heard during scenes from when the episodes originally aired.
"I Don't Want To Wait" is the opening credits theme song heard in this DVD release. "Run Like Mad" by Jann Arden, which was only heard in during season one international airings, will not be included on international releases of the Season 1 DVD.
