Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.
Max finds out that Norman has to defeat a powerful lion-headed warrior in three tests of strength and wits in order to retain his immortality, but Norman sends him away so that Max won't try to interfere. Norman struggles through two of the tests and manages to win, but time is running out during the third. Max finally makes his way back and, thanks to a loophole in the rules of the test, helps Norman win and gain the right to live for another 10,000 years.

- An interesting note about this episode is that Norman succeeds at gaining Immortality, yet in two adventures later during the episode "Armageddon Outta Here" (The final episode), he meets his doom.
