Dawn Morrell

Dawn Morrell is an American politician from Washington. She is currently a Democratic member of the Washington House of Representatives, representing the 25th Legislative District. Her district encompasses the city of Puyallup, portions of the cities of Milton, Fife and Edgewood and the unincorporated communities of Midland, Summit-Waller and South Hill.

She was first elected to office in November 2002 and was subsequently re-elected in 2004 and 2006.

Morrell is Vice Chair of the House Health Care Committee and Co-Chair of the Joint Committee on Veterans' and Military Affairs. She also serves on the Select Committee on Environmental Health and the Appropriations and Rules Committees.

She is one of eight registered nurses currently serving in the Washington State Legislature. She continues to work as a critical care nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup.
