Dawn is a comic book character, created by Joseph Michael Linsner. Dawn is the goddess of birth and rebirth and the lover of Cerenos, the god of death. She is depicted with three "tears" running from her left eye.

Dawn first appeared only on the covers of Cry for Dawn before featuring in her own one shot Drama from the new publisher Sirius Entertainment and then the miniseries Dawn: Lucifer's Halo (ISBN 1-57989-014-8), Dawn: Return of the Goddess (ISBN 1-58240-242-6), and Dawn: Three Tiers (ISBN 1-58240-573-5).[1]

For the last nine years a Dawn look-a-like contest has been held at Dragon Con.[2]
