From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Dawlish Town F.C. are a football club based in Dawlish, Devon, England.
They left the Exeter & District League and joined the Western League in 1973, and have maintained membership of that league ever since, with a best league performance of 3rd place in the Premier Division in the 1982-83 season. They have twice been relegated to Division One, but in 2005-06 they were champions of the lower division and promoted back to the Premier Division.
In the 1986-87 season, they reached the Quarter-Finals of the FA Vase, but progression in the FA Cup has been harderd to come by, with the club never even getting past the Preliminary Round in nine attempts (their only win in the competition coming in an Extra-Preliminary Round tie).
