[edit] About Me

I am an American from Portland Oregon. For the past three years, I have been living in South Korea and teaching English as a Second Language. In January 2006, I married a Korean woman and we are planning to go back to the United States together later this year. Some of my hobbies include photography, music, reading, traveling, politics, caving, and surfing the internet. I am a member of Lions Club. As of lately, I have been editing less and less on Wikipedia due to time constraints, but check in quite often.

The article that I am most proud of writing is the one about my grandfather, Morris R. Jeppson. He was the assistant weaponeer on the Enola Gay, the plane that dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima August 6th, 1945. Very little information was available about him due to the fact he did not grant any interviews up until the 40th anniversary in 1985. When I first began to browse Wikipedia, I noticed my grandfather was mentioned in the article about the Enola Gay. His name was misspelled in the article and no additional information was available. I felt that the world should learn about his accomplishments after the war, as he took part in many important scientific discoveries that make it possible to develop the products we buy and use today. He was interviewed for the article Eyewitness to Hiroshima which appeared in Time Magazine for the 60th anniversary in August 2005 [1].

In addition, I have done extensive work on many articles about Oregon politicians. Recently, I have been trying to update article about the 2006 Oregon Gubernatorial Election. Currently, I am trying to add election results from the 2006 primary election to diffrent articles. Please feel free to look through the list of articles I have written or contributed to and give me feedback on my talk page.
