[edit] Early life

Dave was born in Southport, Queensland's Base Hospital, on July 15, 1987 to Elizabeth and Lawrence Foley. He is the second of two children. At the age of 18 he successfully completed his high school career at Monivae College in Hamilton, Victoria

Growing up, Dave showed a keen interest in the world of sport, suggesting at times that he would go on to play for Australia in cricket as well as the Geelong Cats in the AFL Australian Football League. From an early age of around six, Dave's father Lawrence knew that his son had talent in the sporting field. Lawrence's other child was a daughter, Amie, who currently is employed at Woolworths in Hamilton, working in the cash office.

At the age of roughly three years old, the young Foley family moved from the Gold Coast in Queensland to the quiet town of Hamilton, where young Amie and David would grow up. Both children would earn their educations at St. Marys Primary School then Monivae College.

During his time at Monivae, Dave formed a strong bond with Kelvin Neal, son of Monivae's principal Bernard Neal. Dave and Kelvin have so far experienced many adventures together as teenagers, and grown up accordingly. On more than once occasion they have made a movie for school assessment, which comes under the movie appearance section.

[edit] Movie appearences

Dave has partaken in two school based films as of this date. The first was a short documentary about the life and times of cannibal convict, Alexander Pierce. The second short film was made in mid 2005 based on ethics and beliefs of his religion class. It consisted of two highly humorous parts, the first being about the relatively controversial subject of sex before marriage. Chapter two consisted of the topical underage drinking that occurred in the district. Overall, the film was distinctly provative and received some backlash from fellow students due to their unsolicited roles in the film.
