First logged in to Wikipedia and Wikispecies in January 2006. I'm enthusiastic about a FREE encyclopaedia - not just free of cost to the reader, but free for all to contribute and comment.
I'm a botanist living in Adelaide, Australia, and planned to contribute from time to time on plants, especially the family Iridaceae. Other interests include history of ornamental plants, plant breeding, early music, science fiction and the local history of Melbourne (my home city).

There has been a lot of negative comment in Wikipedia about Scientology, which happens to be my religion. The temptation to correct some false data is becoming irresistible...
