The stated source of the image is incorrect. The stela with the representation of David Kuropalates and the Virgin was first discovered in 2003; hence, the photo is NOT from Sh. Amiranashvili's History of Georgian Art (Tbilisi, 1966), but it must have been taken from a very recent publication, most likely Irene Giviashvili's/Irakli Koplatadzes' book on Tao-Klarjeti.
