Davlekanovo

Davlekanovo (Russian: Давлеканово) is a town in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia, located on the Dyoma River 90 km west of Ufa at 54°13′0″N, 55°2′60″E. Population: 23,860 (2002 Census); 21,911 (1989 Census).

Known since the mid-18th century as the village of Itkulovo (Иткулово); later renamed Davlekanovo. Urban-type settlement status since 1928; town status since 1942.
