Established in 1892, Davis & Company LLP is a Canadian law firm with over 200 lawyers. The founding office is in Vancouver, with other offices located in Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal, Whitehorse, Yellowknife and Tokyo.
Davis provides both commercial law and litigation services. Specialized practice areas include aboriginal, competition, professional governance, international corporate governance, renewable energy and video games and interactive entertainment. The firm's infrastructure and project finance team structures and arranges financing and advises on Canadian and European public-private partnerships.
Davis championed the rights of Japanese-Canadians after World War II, and its relationship with Japanese companies and investors, and those wishing to do business in Japan, is a firm differentiator.
