David "Shoe" Shumacher is a radio host on WJAB, sports talk radio station located on 779 Warren Ave. in Portland, Maine. WJAB airs on 1440 AM and 95.5 FM. Shoe hosts The Morning Jab with co-host Joe Palmieri. The Morning Jab airs week day mornings from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. Shoe is known as a sports expert with knowledge of all sports, with the exception of baseball, football, basketball, hockey, auto racing, golf, wrestling, soccer, field hockey, track and field, tennis, skiing, bobsledding, jai alai, polo, luge, handball, synchronized swimming and boxing. He is also known to be a Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and Boston Celtics fanatic.
