David Wotton is a former Australian politician. He was a Liberal Party of Australia member of the South Australian House of Assembly between 1975 and 2002, representing the electorate of Heysen.

Aside from the electoral district of Waite (then known as Mitcham), Wotton presided over the closest win versus the Democrats in South Australian history, winning against them by a two-party preferred margin of 1.9% in the 1997 election.
