David Williams (Born June 14, 1986, Shrewsbury) is a british musician in the British pop punk band Son of Dork, along with fellow band members James Bourne, Chris Leonard, Danny Hall and Steve Rushton. After being born in Shrewsbury he moved with his family to Abertilley, Wales. At the age of 18 David Williams auditioned for the chance to be part of the new genration 5 piece Pop/Punk band Son of Dork signed to Mercury Universal (Fall Out Boy, Matt Willis, Orson). Chosen from over 2,000 hopeful's, David became one of the lead guitarist and Son Of Dork was formed and had instant chart success with their first single 'Ticket Outta Loserville' reaching #3 in the UK charts. They were then voted in November Smash Hits 'Best Newcomer' Band voted by thousands of fans. The bands second single "Eddie's Song' was voted Number 1 video on Kerrang TV, with David fronting the video, the single went into the charts at #10UK. David can regulary be seen on the cover of various magazines, including Top Of the Pops, Smash Hits and It's Hot!
