David Wilkinson (born 17 April 1988, in Croydon, England) is a footballer who is currently playing for Crystal Palace in The Championship. He wears the number 38 shirt and plays as a goalkeeper.

David attended Ashburton Junior School before going to Shirley High School, he left there in 2004 to become a full-time scholar with Crystal Palace, the team he has always supported.

David started out in the Palace academy and was there from the age of 9, and has come through the ranks to being a regular in the Reserve team during the 2005-06 season. Though he has now been given his first squad number, he is one of four goalkeepers in the Palace squad. He was recently promoted to the bench whilst Julián Speroni was injured and Gábor Király was on loan. Following this, he was sent on loan to Welling United, of the Conference South to gain experience.
