David Trinidad

American poet David Trinidad was born in 1953 in Los Angeles. In the early eighties, he was one of a group of poets who were active at the Beyond Baroque Literary/Arts Center in Venice, California. Other members of this group included Dennis Cooper, Bob Flanagan and Amy Gerstler. In 1990, Trinidad received his MFA from Brooklyn College. He currently teaches at Columbia College Chicago. He has also taught at the New School and Princeton University.
