Career Highlights

David Teague (born May 5, 1981) is an Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League.

He debuted for the Kangaroos in 2001 after being elevated from the rookie list under Denis Pagan, and then moved to Carlton under their recycled player policy in 2004, reunited with Pagan. Teague won the John Nicholls Medal in 2004, and was noted for his courage in defence.

He played almost every game in 2005, but spent most of 2006 playing as one of the best in the Northern Bullants, with only seven games for Carlton. He was seen as not fitting into Carlton's defensive line-up. During his season at the Bullants, he played further up the ground, and was a dominant player in wet conditions.
