David Starr Jordan High School is a public comprehensive four-year high school in the Watts neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, USA. Some sections of Florence-Graham, an unincorporated neighborhood in Los Angeles County, are jointly zoned to Jordan and John C. Fremont High School.
Formerly a segregated high school restricted to African Americans, the high school is now over 70% Latino, with the rest being mainly African American. The school colors are blue and white and the mascot is a grey bulldog.
The school is named after David Starr Jordan, a leading ichthyologist, educator and peace activist. He was president of Indiana University and Stanford University.
