David Schurmann (2000)

David Schurman Born in Florianopolis Brazil in 1974 started his passion for filmaking at age 13. That was when he started filming the adventures during the Schurmann Family first circumnavigation. After learning the secrets of the profession hands-on, he got a formal degree in Cinema in New Zealand. Afterwards, he completed his education in the United States. He has worked internationally directing and producing television shows, documentaries and commercials films.

David, who had the privilege of growing up onboard a sailing boat, also gives lectures to companies. As the official producer/director/cinematographer of the Schurmann Family adventures, he has registered the most beautiful images in the four corners of the world, especially during Magellan Global Adventure (1997-2000).
