David Schrader (writer/director)

David Schrader is an American film writer/director. Born in Pittsburgh, Schrader went to Salisbury University in Maryland before settling in Playa del Rey, California.
Schrader's first film was "NoHo" made in 1996. He then co-wrote, starred in and directed "Being Ozzy Osbourne" in 2002, a short spoof of "Being John Malkovich."
Schrader has written numerous pilots and specs for television including The Simpsons, Seinfeld, and South Park. David also co-wrote, produced, and directed along with Keith Coulouris the low budget horror film Bloodline, released in December 2005 by Lions Gate Films.
