David Schrader (keyboardist)

David Schrader (born September 15, 1952, Chicago, Illinois) is an American harpsichordist and organist, and a performer of several other keyboard instruments as well. He is a well-known performer on each of these instruments, and is considered one of the premier performers of today.[citation needed] He is a professor at the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University in Chicago where he teaches music history on undergraduate and graduate levels, and conducts chamber music ensembles.

Schrader has appeared with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra on several occasions and at national conventions of the American Guild of Organists. He performs with Trio Settecento, with Rachel Barton Pine on violin, and John Mark Rozendaal on cello.
