David Ruttenbergwas born in 1963 in Miami Beach, Florida. He has been recognized as a talented music producer, engineer and composer with a diverse career spanning nearly three decades in the music and Internet industry.

David's credibility and appeal encompasses the worlds of jazz, R&B, rock and pop where he's constantly embodied the dual ideals of virtuosity and versatility. He's both a gifted multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, and has been featured on numerous recordings as both a featured and contributing artist.

David has worked with some of the biggest names in entertainment and business including Peter Gabriel, Stevie Wonder, Janet Jackson, Lindsey Buckingham, 3M, Goodyear and Blockbuster Video. He honed his business acumen serving at the upper-levels of companies including Otari, NEOTEK, REP/SVC Magazine and GATE International.

In recent months, he's completed project work for Russ Freeman, The Rippingtons and Eric Marienthal. His first jazz solo album - Sunset Key - was released in December 2005 on Polar Boehme Records.

David mastered his performance, engineering and production skills with degrees from the University of Miami School of Music and College of Engineering. His easy-going style is balanced by an ever-increasing love of all things technical and creative.

He's equally at home in recording, mixing and mastering studios working on major and independent projects. He lives with his family in South Florida.

David Ruttenberg is known well among many users of the mySpace network, because of his regular postings on their message boards. By posting the same comment on thousands of message boards on the network, he seems to try to establish his (otherwise unknown) name in the music scene. The comments he posts also always contain his webserver address, where you can buy a CD.

This is, why David Ruttenberg is perceived as an unserious musician by many people. Some even believe, that he is making money with an internet scam.
