David Robertson (journalist)

David Robertson (born 1965 in Dundee) is a Scottish television presenter, and is currently the main presenter of BBC Scotland's flagship news programme Reporting Scotland.
Robertson started his media career with Dundee radio station Radio Tay, he was in the original presenting roster for BBC News 24 co-presenting their breakfast programme before joining Reporting Scotland in late 2000.
Prior to BBC News 24, he worked as a BBC network reporter and correspondent, covering such stories as the Bosnian War from Sarajevo. He also worked in the USA, Germany and Spain.
As well as newsreading, Roberston has also presented BBC Radio Scotland quiz show Soundbiters which is based on the happenings in the news throughout the calendar year.
