David Riche

David Riché (September 8, 1938 - ) is a British author born in London. Educated at Mill Hill School A marketing career followed in fashion , cosmetics and consumer electronics with Sanyo and Marubeni in the Orient, USA and Europe.
In 2000 he had an original idea to launch a website Fairies World® for fairy and fantasy artists worldwide, promoting their inspirational visual art to publishers and authors worldwide to collaborate in the development of the genre, a 21 century renaissance of mythical art. He collaborated with illustrator Brian Froud "The Art of Faery" 2003 to compile a book of twenty prominent 21st century fairy artists, followed by another with Alan Lee, September 2005 "The World of Faery" The book 500 Fairy Motifs Myrea Pettit published September 2005 is a result of his concept supporting more fairy artists world wide.
