David A. Quitmeyer (born 11 December 1973) is an American director, writer, editor and producer. He is best known for writing/producing the Adult Film Clown Porn and writing/directing the independent hybrid horror movie Slaughter Disc which is defined as the "spearhead of the splatter porn subgenre" by Rue Morgue, [1].

At early age, David discovered his love of horror movies; today he has had fiction published in the small press, won several writing awards and has been a featured writer on Soundtrack.net and numerous other review sites. David's film Slaughter Disc has been featured in horror magazines such as Rue Morgue, Red Scream, Fangoria and Ultra Violent [2].

David was born in Las Cruces, NM and spent most of his childhood growing up in the Mesilla Valley. He attended New Mexico State University where he trained to be a Respiratory Therapist. He currently resides in San Diego, CA.
