David Phillips, OC is generally regarded as one of Canada's most knowledgeable weather experts. He is a Senior Climatologist for Environment Canada and a spokesperson for the Meteorological Service of Canada and author of many books. He has also received several awards for his work.

Books by Phillips are The Climates Of Canada, Blame It On The Weather and The Day Niagara Falls Ran Dry. He is also the creator of Canada’s most popular calendar, The Canadian Weather Trivia Calendar.
