David Pearce (boxer)

David 'Bomber' Pearce (May 8, 1959 - May 20, 2000) was a former British heavyweight boxing champion. Born in Newport, Wales, Pearce won the British heavyweight title in 1983.
Pierce is noted for boxing in the last 15-round British championship bout, as the contracts for the bout were finalized before the present 12-round rule was in place.
