David Neill

David Neill (born July 17, 1980[1]) was an American college football quarterback for the University of Nevada. In 1998 he set an NCAA record for most touchdown passes in a season by a freshman with 29 thrown. This record was tied in 2006 by Colt McCoy of the Texas Longhorns but has not been broken.[2] Neill also holds other school records including one for most completed passes with 763.[1] He received attention as a professional league prospect by NFL.com but went undrafted in the 2002 NFL Draft.[1]
Neill attended high school at Hart High School in Newhall, California; he played football and basketball in high school.[1]
