David Mirfin (born April 18, 1985 in Sheffield) is a professional footballer, currently playing for Huddersfield Town in Coca-Cola League One.

At 6'3" and 13st, 'Mirf' plays as a centre half and has commanding presence. Regarded as the most talented player in the team, he graduated from the Academy in the 2003/04 campaign and made an immediate impression, helping the team keep 16 clean sheets out of the 25 matches he appeared in that season and also scoring 3 goals.

A regular threat from set-pieces due to his aerial presence, Mirfin is tipped for big things in the future. His main attributes are his pace and strength, which give him the nickname 'The Ox'.
