David Marks (psychologist)

David Marks is a psychologist and professor at City University in London, UK He is founding editor of the Journal of Health Psychology.
He is largely concerned with two areas of psychological research - health psychology and parapsychology. In his work on health psychology Marks advocates the use of cognitive behaviour therapy as the most effective clinical approach to smoking cessation. In his work on parapsychology he adopts a sceptical analysis of paranormal claims.
