David Maurice Lighty, Jr. (born May 27, 1988 in Cleveland, Ohio) is a freshman basketball player at The Ohio State University, and is part of Ohio State's 2006 recruiting class, known as the Thad Five.
Lighty attended and played basketball at the prestigious Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School in Cleveland, Ohio. He was named to the All Ohio first team in his senior year.
