David Libert

David Libert is an American musician and music executive whose career has spanned almost 40 years. He has earned dozens of gold and platinum awards as a record producer, manager, agent, artist, tour manager and songwriter. He began his career in the music industry as a founding member of the musical group, The Happenings, where he first experienced the process of creating hit records including the #1 singles, "See You In September" and "I Got Rhythm". As head of The David Libert Agency, Libert represented colorful artists such as George Clinton’s Parliament-Funkadelic, Bootsy's Rubber Band (Bootsy Collins), and The Runnaways (Joan Jett, Lita Ford, Cherrie Currie). He also served as tour manager for Rare Earth as well as Alice Cooper during Alice's most formidable years ('School's Out', 'Billion Dollar Babies', etc ). David Libert has been personal manager for many artists including George Clinton, Living Colour, Brian Auger, The Dead Boys, Vanilla Fudge, Cherie Currie, Mother's Finest and Sheila E. several of whom he still manages today. David Libert currently resides in Los Angeles and is presently CEO of Available Entertainment. Libert still spends a great deal of time with his artists, in both the studio or on the road.
