David Leisure (born November 16, 1950 in San Diego) is an American actor best known for his role as Charlie Dietz in the sitcom Empty Nest and fictional automotive “pitch man” Joe Isuzu in a popular series of North American television commercials for Isuzu in the late 1980s. During the early 1990's, Leisure also endorsed the juice drink Boku. Leisure attended Grossmont High School in El Cajon , California.

Leisure had a brief spoof in the Family Guy Season 2 episode "A Picture Is Worth a Thousand Bucks" as the message in the cab to buckle, although he is frustrated that no one knows his name.

More recently, Leisure has been acting as a fictional and unreputable insurance lawyer in a series of commercials for various American personal-injury law firms. In different markets, different firms have licensed the footage and add in their own spokespeople and names.
