Dr. David Kearney was a fictional character in the New Zealand TV drama Shortland Street. He was the director of the clinic and the father of troubled teen Fergus Kearney. He also married Ellen Crozier and had another daughter Rose Crozier-Kearney who died of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
He was portrayed by Peter Elliott from 1996 to 1999.
