David Horovitch

David Horovitch (born 11 August 1945) is an English actor best known for playing the character of Inspector Slack in Miss Marple.

David Horovitch trained at the Central School for Speech and Drama in the 1960's.

He has played many roles on popular british TV shows in the past 40 years including: The New Avengers, Hold the Back Page, Bulman, Boon, Agatha Christie's Poirot, Love Hurts, Westbeach, Just William, Drop The Dead Donkey, Peak Practice, Foyle's War, The Second Coming, Casualty as well as staring in the little remembered ITV detective show Bogner.

David Horovitch has had a long and distinguished theatre career - appearing in productions including Charley's Aunt, An Inspector Calls, Racing Demon, The Importance of Being Earnest, One Of Us, School For Scandal, The Doll's House, The Tempest, Major Barbara, and the original London cast of Forty Years On. Horovitch has appeared in over 3 other theatre productions in London's West End, for the RSC and as part of a career long association with the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester.

David Horovitch has also made a number of film appearances.
