David Hicken is a composer, pianist and organist. Born in England in 1970, he attended Tettenhall College in Wolverhampton and went on to study with Nicholas Danby at the Royal College of Music in London. When he was only 17, he accepted a full scholarship to study with Donald Sutherland at Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. He has released CDs of original compositions with President and Prestige Records and two CDs of organ music with Delta Music. He has performed at major venues throughout the world and continues to perform and compose in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he currently resides.
