David Fried is a political leader in Rockland County, New York, USA. He was born in Anaheim, California, but has lived in Rockland County since childhood. He is a graduate of Manhattanville College and studied law at the Cardozo School of Law.

Legislator David Fried was elected to the Rockland County Legislature on November 4, 2003 at the age of 24. He is one of the youngest County Legislators to serve in the history of New York State. Legislator Fried is the Deputy Majority Leader of the Legislature and serves as Chair of the Committee on Public Safety.
