David Fletcher is one of the top young mountain bikers and cyclo-cross riders in Britain.

David is rapidly proving to be one of Great Britain's most talented sports stars and is expected to play a role in the 2012 Olympics in London.

He has recently travelled to New Zealand for the Junior World Championships for Mountain Biking. After an impressive performance finishing 18th, he has gained support from all over the country with the Olympic Development Programme (ODP) putting him with the most talented sport stars in the UK.

2006/07 is his final year of competition in the junior category, and will soon be moving up into the U23's where he will compete against some of the best mountain bikers and cyclocross riders in the world.

David Fletcher is currently attending the Dukeries college studying Physical Education, Art and Infortmation Technology. He is at an average academic level and has decided to pursue a career as a profesional mountain biker.
