David was only 4-0 when he upset Matias Rios 7-0 from Buenos Aires, Argentina after dropping him in the first with a unanimous decision on Galavision TV.

He beat the favored South Paw Eric Pinero from Puerto Rico dropping him in the first with a third round TKO on Florida’s Sunshine Network TV. David won by TKO over Alton Madison using only his left hand through the entire first round just to prove a point. He also won over Richard Hall from North Carolina on the Andrew 'Six-Heads' Lewis, card in New York City.

Reggie Davis was nationally ranked No.3 in the amateurs when he won a controversial decision over David. But not this time. David won over big Leonard promotion card up in Washington State.

He won over Charles Clark dropping him in the first round and stopping him with a TKO in the fifth, while in the South Paw stance, live on ESPN2. David won over big on Luke Cool Hands Leal after pounding him with body shots, dropping him twice never to answer the count after the second knock down live on Telemundo TV. There have been other wins with other KO’s.

David is a very exciting fighter to watch. He is an aggressive boxer puncher, who can switch very well to South Paw doing much damage at the same time. He also does great against South Paws. David loves to go to the body and is very strong and hard hitting for his weight class. He is very durable and can take a good punch when he has to.

David has been to training camp with Andrew 'Six-Heads' Lewis, Zab Judah and Angel Manfreddy. To everyone’s amazement he did extremely well against them all. Zab Judah’s father said David is definitely championship material. Angel Manfreddy told ESPN2 cameras on live TV to beware of the new up and coming Welterweight David Estrada. Quoting the legend Angelo Dundee himself, “David is a future talent. I don’t think he can miss. He wants it, he can taste it and he works hard.” One of David’s main goals in life is to win three titles in three different weight classes. The Welterweight, Junior middleweight, and Middleweight Division. He is a hungry young lion with determination and self-confidence. When he sets his mind to do something, he does it. There have been many promoters and managers that have made their approach. He is not now or ever has been signed with any promoter or manager. He has friends in the Boxing world that have helped him get fights. David Estrada is a diamond in the rough. He is being patient, waiting for the right promoter who can guide him to the top and share his glory.

His last fight was against Kermit Cintron on Wednesday, April 19th, which he lost when the referee stopped the match in round 10 (TKO). This made his professional record 18 wins (9 by knockout) and 3 losses, with no draws.
