David Einhorn is a hedge fund manager for Greenlight Capital.[1]

In 2006, Einhorn placed 18th in the World Series of Poker, winning $659,730.[2]

Einhorn's grandfather suffered from Parkinson's disease.[2] Einhorn holds a seat on the board of the The Michael J. Fox Foundation.[1]

He donated his 2006 WSOP winnings to the foundation.[1]

In 2006, Einhorn built a 3.5 million-share position in subprime lender New Century, and won a seat on that company's board of directors.[1] He quit the board in the second week of March 2007.[1]
