David Della Rocco

David Della Rocco is an Italian American actor best known for his major role in the 1999 cult classic The Boondock Saints also named David Della Rocco.

A childhood friend of the writer/director Troy Duffy, his role in The Boondock Saints was written specifically for him. He played the part of David Della Rocco, a lowlife in the mob, who turns to helping his two friends, the McManus brothers, in ridding Boston of criminals and all evil. Della Rocco brought many of his real life mannerisms and flair to the character, making an impression on fans and living up to the character's nickname, "The Funnyman."

More recently, he was credited in the upcoming film Seasons of Dust with Orlando Bloom and Kate Bosworth.[1]However, due to the break up of Bloom and Bosworth, the film's release is uncertain.

A June 2006 interview with Troy Duffy states that Rocco would be coming back in the upcoming Boondock Saints sequel.
