David Boyle (director)

David Boyle (1982 -) was raised in Tucson, Arizona and studied Japanese at Brigham Young University. Interested in film since childhood he experimented in theater, animation and live action film as he grew up.
In 2006 he wrote, directed and starrred in the feature length motion picture Big Dreams Little Tokyo which premiered at the AFI Fest. The film combines a series of stories and a collection of characters based on observations Boyle made while living in the Japantown section of Sydney, Australia.
Boyle is currently working on the film White on Rice which will be shot the summer of 2007.
