David Boulton

David Boulton is a UK radio presenter who currently works for Yorkshire Radio on DAB Digital Radio.

David first got interested in radio at an early age by seeing the Radio Lollipop roadshow. After joining Radio Lollipop at Queen Marys Hospital in Carshalton when he was 15, he help in fundraising and building of "The Lollipop Centre" and appeared on Blue Peter when it was officially launched by the TV show.

At 17 he went to work on The Voice of Peace, a pirate radio station based off the coast of Israel. On his return to the UK, he started working at Radio HMV in the Oxford Street HMV store.

While presenting shows there monday to friday, he started commuting to York to present Weekend Breakfast on Minster FM. David stayed at the Minster Sound Radio Group for many years presenting a variety of shows on Yorkshire Coast Radio, Sun FM and Home 107.9.
