David Allen Stern

David Allen Stern, Ph.D., is a Professor and Department Head of the University of Connecticut, Department of Dramatic Arts. He earned his BFA in Acting at the University of Connecticut, and his MA and Ph.D. in Speech from Temple University. He is most well-known for his series of dialect instruction tapes, Acting With an Accent, which has 25 distinct dialects each with an instructional book.
